What play equipment is there at Broomfield Park? A star of this playground is the large, pirate ship climbing frame. The climbing frame has many different climbs, a slide and lots of interesting puzzles/movable equipment such as maps, an anchor and treasure on the bottom level.
Other equipment includes a variety of swings, a long swing, a large climb on truck, roundabout, climbing frame, rope bridge and spinning equipment
This playground is enclosed. There is plenty of open space around the playground and lots of picnic benches. There are also pitches and woodland at the far side of the green.
Is there a cafe at Broomfield Park? Cheerful Chai Cafe
The Broomfield Village Hall playground is next to a great family friendly cafe. The cafe (Cheerful Chai) is inside Angel Pavillion. Cheerful Chair has a good selection of hot and cold drinks as well as toasties and jacket potatoes. Children's lunch meal deals are also available.
The cafe is very kid friendly and there are lots of toys and books for children. Inside the cafe are toilets including baby change and accessible toilets. There is seating inside and outside, which overlooks the play area.
Angel Pavillion
The Angel Pavilion is a hub space with rooms available to hire. There are regular events and baby groups held at Angel Pavilion - including hypnobirthing, Hartbeeps, pilates, messy play and role play groups including Little CIty and Nee Naw Parties.
