Central Park Playground
Equipment at Central Park Playground includes a variety of climbing frames, including a large climbing frame with challenging climbs for juniors and teenagers. There is also ride on equipment, balancing equipment, in floor trampoline, roundabout, zipwire and a large climbing pyramid. Swings include baby swings, a tandem swing and nest swing Toddlers will love the sit in train. The flooring at central park has lots of brightly coloured and interesting play prompts. The playground is enclosed.
Central Park Skate Park
The Central Park Chelmsford skate park is can be found next to the playground. The skate park also is popular with young scooter rids.
Central Park Lake
There is a large lake at Central Park with plenty of ducks to feed. You can buy duck food from Central Park Cafe.
Where to eat and drink at Central Park - Central Park Cafe
The Central Park Cafe is located close to Central Park Playground. The Central Park Cafe is open every day from 7.30am. There is a varied hot drink menu, serving freshly ground coffee, matcha and chai lattes. Alternative milks are available - oat, soya and coconut milk. Gluten free cakes and gluten free bread is also available. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. From May to September the cafe hosts Pizza and Prosecco evenings.
