Epping Forest, Chingford, E3 7QJ
There are great options for cycle hire in Epping Forest. Epping Forest is made up of ancient woodland, which stretches between Greater London and Essex. Throughout Epping Forest there are over 284km of shared paths and cycleways, meaing there are great cycle routes in Epping Forest.
You can hire bikes from Go Further Cycling, in Chingford. From there you are free to explore the beautiful woodland. Cycle hire is available from 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. Hire is also available on Mondays in school holidays and bank holidays. A wide range of bikes are available to hire including mountain bike hire, electric bike hire and road cycles hire. There are also a variety of childrens cycles to hire, including trailers and tag-a-longs. Cycle hire can be prebooked. Go Further Cycling also offer bike serving and repairs.

Thames Chase, Upminster, RM14 3NS
This Forestry England park is a real family favourite! As well as great, inclusive cycle hire at Thames Chase, Kids will love the playground and Gruffalo Party Trail, based on the Julia Donaldson classic.
The cycle trails are flat and meander through the woodland and meadows. Seasonable cycle hire (April to September) is available from Thames Chase Forest Centre. Cycle hire at Thames Chase is available on weekends and weekdays during the school holidays, between 10.30am and 4pm.There is a good variety of accessible hire including adapted trikes and quads for wheelchair users

The playground at Thames Chase Thames has a climbing frame, baby swings, climbing pyramid and wooden climbing shelter. The play area is enclosed. Thorndon Country Park is a vast park, full of ancient woodlands. There are great walking and cycle routes through the forest.
Cycle hire at Thorndon Country Park is available seasonally on weekends and during school holidays, between 10.30am and 4pm.
