Have you visited the longest play trail in Essex? Great Notley Country Park has a brilliant play trail. The trail is a 1.2km loop with various pieces of play equipment and playgrounds along the route. The pathways are paved and mostly flat. The Great Notley Play Trail is accessible and buggy friendly.

Playgrounds at Great Notley Country Park Play Trail
Along the play trail route there are lots of different play equipment such as a large climb on seesaw, climbing frames, swings, a zip wire, and slides. There is also a play area with slides and little wooden houses.

There is a large sand pit play area, with a rope climbing frame, a slide into the sand and lots of sand equipment including diggers and pulleys.
The variety of play equipment make it suitable for children of all ages.

Where to eat and drink at Great Notley Country Park Play Trail
There is a cafe inside the visitor centre (The Skylark Cafe) with a limited selection of cold food and cold and cold drinks, ice creams. The Skylark Cafe is usually open from 8.30am to 3.30pm on weekends and 9.30am to 3.30pm during the school holidays. The cafe is dog friendly.
Toilets on the Great Notley Country Park Play Trail
There are toilets (including accessible and baby change) inside the cafe at Great Notley Country Park. There are no other toilets along the route.

There are plenty of things to do at Great Notley Country Park - feed the ducks and in the school holidays enjoy inflatable fun days or experience Sky Ropes! Sky Ropes is a two-level high ropes course. A junior course is also available.
