Gloucester Park is a large park located in Basildon. As well as lots of open space, there is a large lake (full of ducks!), pathways through the park and a children's play park. The park is also close to leisure facilities at Basildon Sporting Village.

There is a car park with free parking on Cranes Farm Road. From the car park on Cranes Farm Road, it is a 5-10 minute walk through the park to the playground.

The playground at Gloucester Park is enclosed. The play area is most suitable for smaller children up to the age of 10. Play equipment includes several climbing frames, balancing equipment, spinning equipment ride on equipment, swings and a zip line. The flooring is a mix of grass and tarmac.
